The Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce invites business leaders and community members to demonstrate their commitment to local buying at the Buy Here Business Fair on April 27. The Chamber's Buy Here campaign is designed to strengthen our local economy through increased business-to-business purchasing. If every business in Johnson County shifted just 5% of their out-of-area spending, the change would result in approximately $95 million for our community. Imagine the power of that money recirculating in our community . . . new jobs, business expansion, improved public services, streets, parks and schools and new startup businesses based on locally identified needs.

The Fair will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn & Conference Center in Coralville. The event is open to the public with complimentary admission.
