About Carpenters Union Local 1260:
Carpenters Local 1260 was chartered September 2, 1902, and now represents 300 professional union carpenters and their families. We are part of North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters, which is a subsidiary of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC). The UBC represents more than half a million carpenters, floor coverers, lathers, millwrights and pile drivers in the United States and Canada.
We are literally changing lives for people by offering them a skilled career with good pay and good benefits. Our four-year apprenticeship program ensures that our members are skilled, safe, trained and productive. They can earn while they learn. We also offer advanced skills training for our journey-level members, as well as leadership training.
